Why Help Our Communities Honor Aging?
Growing up in a rural community with no access to immediate medical care I witnessed the miracle of life daily. Unquestionably, the miracle of life depended on those individuals, such as doctors, dentist, engineers and philanthropic role models who served the community free of personal interest and for a greater purpose. I am the founder of HOCHA, and this organization is a legacy of those who taught me that life is created by giving.

We are a group of volunteers with more than 40 years of combined medical care experience committed to delivering healthcare solutions to rural communities worldwide.
HOCHA is a 501 (c) 3 organization registered in California. EIN number 99-2224875.
Mission
HOCHA preserves human dignity by providing basic care to people living in remote areas that lack access to immediate medical care.
HOCHA harnesses the power of rural communities by building alliances with community-based actions and by promoting environmental stewardship.
